2. Information We Collect
From Clients (agents and brokerages who subscribe)
- Account information — your full name, email address, website domain, and business details provided during signup
- Billing information — payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor). We do not store credit card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment status and subscription details only.
- AMPI API key — provided by you to connect your AMPI MLS account. Stored securely and never shared with third parties or exposed to end users.
- Communication records — emails and support messages you send us.
From Website Visitors (buyers searching on your client's site)
- Search queries — property type, neighborhood, price range, and other search filters entered into the search form. These are used only to fetch results from the AMPI MLS API and are not stored permanently.
- Contact form submissions — name, email, phone number, and message submitted through property enquiry forms. These are sent directly to the agent's inbox and are not stored on our servers.
- Technical data — IP address and browser type collected automatically when the plugin validates its licence. Used for security and fraud prevention only.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect or store visitor browsing history beyond a single session
- We do not build advertising profiles on visitors
- We do not sell any personal data to third parties
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the AMPI Property Search service
- To process subscription payments through Lemon Squeezy
- To send you your licence key and onboarding information
- To send subscription renewal reminders and billing notifications

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Lemon Squeezy — our payment processor. They handle all billing and subscription management. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Brevo — our transactional email provider. Used to send you licence keys, onboarding emails, and billing notifications.
- AMPI MLS API — search queries are sent to the AMPI San Miguel de Allende MLS API to retrieve property listings. No personal visitor data is sent to the API.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:
- AMPI API keys are stored encrypted and never exposed in client-side code
- All data transmission uses HTTPS/SSL encryption
- Admin access to our systems is protected by strong passwords
- We do not store payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we commit to notifying you promptly if a breach occurs that affects your data.
6. Data Retention
- Client account data — retained for the duration of your subscription and for 12 months after cancellation for accounting and legal purposes
- Activity logs — retained for 90 days then automatically deleted
- Contact form submissions — sent directly to the agent's email and not retained on our servers
- Search queries — not stored beyond the immediate API request
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to object to processing of your data

8. Cookies
Our product website (ampisearch.dantechexp.com) uses no tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We use only a session cookie to maintain your admin login state if you are a subscribed client accessing your account.
The plugin itself, as installed on your client's WordPress site, uses WordPress transients (server-side caching) to store API results temporarily. No browser cookies are set by the plugin on visitor devices.

Our website may link to third-party websites such as dantechexp.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their policies.
10. Children's Privacy
